The experienced team at QPC starts with proper surface cleaning and pretreatment. â€‹QPC is equipped with two 7-stage immersion systems for parts and components. These immersion systems ensure that the parts are free from impurities like grease and dirt for maximal adhesion of the coating and corrosion resistance. Our immersion systems are compliant to all military specifications and commercial requirements.

Aluminum Immersion System

The Aluminum Dip Line system is equipped with four overhead,1-ton cranes. Each tank holds 2,300 gallons and measures 8' L x 6' W x 6' H. The Aluminum Dip Line uses an Acid cleaning process. It is a trivalent Chrome 7 stage dip tank system for aluminum parts for coating adhesion and corrosion resistance. These tanks are large capacity for over-sized parts and is compliant to MIL-DTL-5541.

Steel Immersion System

Our steel Dip line System is equipped with two 5-ton cranes. Each tank holds 3,000 gallons and measures 8' L x 6' W x  9' H. The Steel Dip Line uses a zinc and/or iron phosphate 7 stage immersion system for carbon steel parts and ductile iron. Our tanks are compliant to federal specifications TTC-490.
